The movie Outbreak starring Dustin Hoffman was very good IMO.
I highly recommend Contagion if you haven't watched it. It's not quite as entertaining as Outbreak, but more cerebral and realistic.
many may not have seen the stand but the last ship was aired this summer on tnt (and was picked up).

there is a video on jw org titled "what happens at a kingdom hall?
" i wouldn't suggest that you watch it as it's pretty sickly, as usual they are praying on emotions in order to encourage people to attend their halls.. the video is presented by a female but does show her face.
it just seems weird that they have allowed a woman to star in this very prominant role.
What they're telling the public and what's really happening is two different things..
You mean, as with everything else they do?
why, if you're a health care worker who's been exposed to the ebola virus, would you get on an airplane and travel right after?.

.
Perhaps I missed it in the article since I read it quickly but it seems as though she traveled before it was known she was exposed.
She travelled before she started showing symptoms. But she had already come into contact with the virus.

so what have been your experiences with sleep paralysis?
any connection to astral projection?
this has interested me recently as i used to have sleep paralysis quite often years ago.
I'd wake up from a bad dream, and couldn't move. I wasn't completely awake, but aware of my surroundings and realize I couldn't move. It was like something was sitting on my chest
I've had that almost identical experience on a couple of occasions. Half-asleep, but aware of my surroundings, feeling like something was on top of me. I even thought I heard whispers, and could see shadows in the room. Like you, I just chalked it up to the fear of demons instilled in me by the JW religion.
my guess is, god gets bored.. armageddon's over, the earth has been cleansed, only his sycophants have survived.
all is perfect.
after a millenium or three god gets bored.
After a millenium or three god gets bored. He sets up some damn loyalty test
Yeah. I don't think God can go that long without displaying how powerful he is in some way, being the omnipotent narcissist that he is. Maybe he'll create another Satan, and start the whole thing over again.
not my cup o tea for sure, but i found out my nephew is a regular zombie on the show.. anyone here like the show?
i'm kinda afraid to even watch it ...my imagination is a bit to active.. .
.
Every male fan of the show has a 'man crush' on Daryl.... just man up and admit it.
Guilty as charged.
i heard from a reliable source that a one-day assembly in arizona last weekend had a "cost" to the publishers of $17,000.. predictably, the elders were nice enough to obligate the attendees to a $6,000 donation to wt before the assembly "costs" (i.e.
"rent/extortion) were even met.
$11,000 rent plus $6000 in extra "donations".
Cook a pizza in under 30 seconds? Okay, that is impossible
According to Back to the Future Part II, we should be able to by now.

Love the show, even though I'm not a big fan of the genre. The zombies are actually far less scary than some of the humans they encounter. I find the show is less about zombies than it is what lengths humans are willing to go to survive.
weekday afternoons: a soap opera featuring judicial committees, demon possessions, and wives clamoring to be the ones who host the circuit overseer's lunch.
saturday mornings: sparlock cartoon.
friday evenings: reality show featuring jw dating.
A Survivor-type reality series with a mock paradise setting. Contestants will be voted off one by one for being deemed 'not spiritual enough' by the other contestants. Like Survivor, there will be challenges(JW related) in which the winner can gain immunity from the vote.
